Q. What is a Private Chef?
A. A Private Chef is a chef that comes to your home or event location to cook for the event.
Q. What do your kosher private chef services include?
A. Our kosher private chef services include menu planning, shopping for ingredients, cooking, serving and clean up. Additional services are available upon request.
Q. What type of events do you cater to?
A. We offer our kosher private chef services for many types of events including romantic dinners, family/friend parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, shabbos meals, holidays, barbecues, vacation getaways and more.
Q. What areas do you cover?
A. We are based out of NY but we will travel to almost anywhere in the world (for more details see our Travel page).
Q. Can you cater to my diet?
A. Yes, we can. During the initial call we will discuss preferences, dietary needs, allergies and then a custom menu will be provided.
Q. Can I change the custom menu?
A. Yes, you have the option to change anything you want on the menu provided.
Q. When and how do I pay?
A. In most cases, payment is due the day of the event. A deposit is required for larger events. We accept cash, checks, Cashapp, Paypal, and Chase QuickPay.
Charcuterie
Q. Are you under a hashgacha?
A. Yes, all our meat is glatt kosher and we are currently under the CHK.
Q. Are your charcuterie items seasonal?
A. We stock most items year-round.
Q. What is your charcuterie for?
A. Our customers have purchased our charcuterie for shabbos meals, holidays, barbecues, engagement parties, kiddush club, gifts, even as a snack in a limo for an anniversary outing.
Q. Can I order if I do not live in NY?
A. Yes, we ship nationwide.
Q. How long will it last?
A. Our items are shipped in a vacuum seal. It can last a couple of weeks if unopened. Once opened, it should be eaten within a few days.
Q. Does it need to be refrigerated?
A. Yes, it needs to be kept in the fridge, however take it out a couple of hours before serving it as it is best if eaten at room temperature.
